Now, if you'll excuse me im off out, hooded birder needs some new nike air max and an Ipad.Hooded Birder (Andy)https://www.blogger.com/profile/02241173242162889143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2024283576348910165.post-39127659495338247452011-08-12T02:09:25.184-07:002011-08-12T02:09:25.184-07:00Well that's where you're wrong, because I&...Well that's where you're wrong, because I've read it. And I do own (despite being 46) a hooded fleece type garment, which I recently bought to wear in Shetland this October, due to the fact that we're heading to the far frozen north (Unst) this year, and it will no doubt be fucking freezing. On the whole though, I have to say I'm not a massive fan of hoods as they greatly reduce your ability to hear birds. Which is important. A woolly hat is my preferred cold weather head covering, unless it's absolutely pissing it down in which case the hood on my coat goes up. And then I usually give up and head for the nearest cup of tea.

Plus of course in the current media-induced climate of fear, the hoodie-wearing birder has to be careful not to get mistaken for a looter! The Leicester Llamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16726759603199971409noreply@blogger.com
